Improv at Work
The ROI of Improv at Work
At WitWorks, we know play isn’t just for kids—it’s a powerful tool for growth, connection, and happiness in the workplace. Science shows that play fuels creativity, strengthens relationships, and, most importantly, makes people happy. Studies show that happy people are more productive and engaged at work, and yet the effort to promote play in the workplace is frequently neglected.
We're here to change that! Through fun, meaningful workshops and training built on improv principles and exercises, we help teams connect, collaborate, and thrive.
What We Do
Improv is a team sport!
Improv thrives on a set of guiding principles that help performers create cohesive scenes that feel planned, despite being entirely made up! Think of improv as a sport, and its principles like “rules of the game”. It just so happens, many of these same "rules”, like active listening, adaptability, collaboration, and many more, are just as essential for teams in the workplace!
Improv at Work
In these vlogs, our co-founders, Katie and Alex, explore how two improv principles, "playing real” and "today’s the day”, create impact both on stage and in the workplace. Want more insights like this? We've got a lot to say! Check out our WitWorks LinkedIn page for more content on improv-driven professional growth!
